To underpin our support we also provide access to Advisers Resource, our sophisticated technology platform which include order entry and account enquiry systems, as well as guidance, research, forms, procedures and tools relevant to every aspect of the investment process. We also offer advisers a number of professional development opportunities, focused on continuing education and practice management.

Advisers Resource

Via this secure web based extranet, we can deliver up to date information including extensive guidance on RJIS policies and procedures, account opening documentation, updates on industry and regulatory developments, product and key contact information, compliance support and investment research.

The key research tools accessed through Advisers Resource include Reuters Knowledge for Investment Management, which contains equity and economic research written by a number of research providers. We also provide access to the Morningstar Adviser Workstation Edition on a heavily subsidised basis. In addition, an analysis of publicly available fund selection tools is included so advisers can be well informed of the methodology driving each of the tools. RJIS also provides a customised Lipper file containing, amongst a host of data, the Fitzrovia TER information for all UK registered funds and institutional share class information.

Professional Development

RJIS hosts professional development conferences for our advisers and support staff within branches and affiliated firms, providing a valuable opportunity for all affiliates to gather in one location to hear updates on key industry and regulatory topics, learn more about practice management initiatives, gain access to expertise useful to them as investment professionals and business owners, and meet with and hear from key strategic partners. Our most successful affiliates also present valuable insight on the keys to their success. These events provide an excellent opportunity for affiliates to network and share ideas amongst their peers.

We also host periodic user group sessions where we provide training and project updates within smaller groups, typically held in various locations throughout the UK.

Finally, we also give affiliated advisers and their staff access to an advanced online training suite to continually enhance and develop their expertise in an ever changing market.
